Introduced Grade 90 spun pile into the market.

ICP opened its spun pile factory in Senai, Johor to cater to demand from the Southern region and Singapore market.

ICP became a wholly owned subsidiary of IJM Corporation Berhad under the conglomerate’s Industry Division.

ICP entered The Malaysia Book of Records for manufacturing the longest precast concrete pile of 46 meters in a single piece.

ICP acquired Fututech Berhad’s steel division in Senai, Johor – an addition to its in-house PC Bar supplier.
2000
Durabon Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of ICP was set up as an in-house supplier of PC Bars.
1996
ICP set up another spun pile factory in Jawi, Seberang Perai, Penang, subsequently closing the Prai factory.
1994
ICP acquired two spun pile factories in Ipoh, Perak and Nilai, Negeri Sembilan.
1993
With increasing demand from overseas and East Malaysia projects as well as the expansion of marine and heavy engineering projects, ICP built its Lumut spun pile factory complete with own jetty and pile-joining facilities that can prejoin piles up to 70m in length.
1988
To meet the increase in supply demand for heavy civil engineering projects and the vast development taking place in central region, ICP opened another spun pile factory in Kapar, Klang.
1987
To widen its market in the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia, ICP opened its first spun pile factory in the Eastern region, located in Gong Badak, Terengganu.
1985
Relocation of Shah Alam spun pile factory to Jalan Kebun, Klang.
1982
Bukit Tengah spun pile factory was relocated to Prai Industrial Estate, Seberang Perai.
1981
ICP’s second spun pile factory was set up in Shah Alam to cater for the Federal Highway II project and demand from the Central Region.
1977
- ICP first began as a joint venture between Jurutama Sdn Bhd (now wholly-owned subsidiary of IJM) and Mitsui Construction Co. Ltd, Japan for the construction of Prai Power Station.
- The first spun pile factory was set up in Bukit Tengah, Seberang Perai, Penang.
